Alexapure Pro Water Filtration System

Alexapure Pro Water Filtration System

At home I use a Berkey, a stainless steel gravity filter. I pour water in the top, gravity does the work, and clean water collects in the bottom with no electricity and no plumbing. If the power or the city water goes out, it keeps right on working.

Here's something most people don't know. Berkey's original filters aren't available anymore, so if you buy a Berkey today, you're getting pretty much the same kind of filter that comes in an Alexapure. That's why the Alexapure Pro is the one I'd point a family to now. The new version was independently tested against more than 220 contaminants in 12 categories. Each filter is rated for up to 200 gallons, and the unit holds up to four filters at once for faster flow. It filters tap water every day, and in an emergency it can handle fresh water from a well, lake, or stream.

One note: it isn't sold to California addresses.
