WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A BUNKER FULL OF FOOD BUT A DEPLETED SPIRITUAL BANK ACCOUNT?

In the opening video shown on the Home page, I mentioned how important it is to maintain spiritual preparation by thinking about things happening in the world today and preparing for the future. I also said that I’d had four dreams that motivated me to participate in such emergency preparedness activities. (EDIT: I’ve actually had 6 dreams in total now that all relate to today.)

One of those dreams occurred in April 2014, and I posted the series here. As you will clearly see in the first video, I make no claim to being any kind of church authority as these are my own experiences. I still maintain that same standard.

I posted these videos in August 2020 as I was somewhat surprised by how motivational the Lord persuaded me to post them! In fact, when I felt such inspiration, I immediately replied, “Lord, I have to work. This is going to take me an entire day.” He said, “do it anyway.”

It actually took me three days.

I got everything all set up with my keynote background and then turned the microphone on, turned the lights on, and spoke for 1.5 hours without stopping. I said things that I had never heard anyone say before. Inspiration just flowed through me for that entire 1.5 hours, and it was a fantastic experience. I never re-recorded anything and only took out a couple of things, like when I coughed. It was a complete stream of consciousness from beginning to end, and it became a profound spiritual experience for me

It’s been viewed about 5000 times on YouTube, but I’ve had so many people compliment me regarding its message. I think I only have one negative comment, and I’m genuinely grateful for the encouragement I received. Some people have told me via email that this is the first time they’ve ever understood this section of Isaiah.

Well, whatever credit I deserve, I give it to the Lord because he’s the one who told me to do it, and he’s the one who inspired me through the entire process. He’s also the one that gave me the dream.

As you will notice in the first video, I encourage people to open up the Scriptures and read each chapter of Isaiah, from 1-14, for I give my commentary. I don’t go through every word or verse, and I’m skipping things that only fit this dream. This is a very narrow approach to these 14 chapters, and I hope you will be as edified as I was creating it.

I WAS SOMEWHAT FREAKED OUT when I first had this dream. I ran around frantically for the next two years, trying to get prepared in every shape or form. I’ve realized that when the Lord says something is imminent, it means something different from what we think is imminent. I still have the same desire to get prepared as I did back then, but I’ve taken a more realistic approach to reach that goal. I also don’t try to scare everybody like I used to.

Now since this is a personal dream, it means nothing to you. It was given in such a way that is personal to me. Each of the dramatic events I saw was covered quickly and not in great detail. I am positive the Lord would know how I would react if he gave me more information. I would probably freak out even more.

I’m still not 100% sure I know the meaning of every symbol in that dream, as I’ve had different insights as the years have gone by. One of them that has recently come to my attention is the Eagle at the end of the dream. The more I think about it, the more it resembles something related to Ezra’s Eagle you may be familiar with.

I fully believe and hope for the coming forth of Zion in the last days. The problem I see is that we are not one. We are not one as a people, as families, as a church, as wards, as communities, etc. We are not one. Everybody now has a mouthpiece with social media, and everyone seems to be persuading people to follow them. I suppose you could accuse me of doing the same thing here, but I promise you I’m not.

I believe it’s absolutely critical that we follow the prophet and apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and not do anything against their teachings or make others feel that these are not faithful servants of God. This requires submission and humility, something very few people understand or teach today.

Some accused me of promoting a cultlike behavior when telling people not to criticize the brethren. It has nothing to do with being involved in a cult. It has to do with having faith.

We will need more faith than we can possibly imagine very soon. Faith without works is dead. I’ve heard people say, “well, the Lord provided for the children of Israel with manna in the wilderness. Surely he will provide for us.” I cringe when I hear that. Why would I do so? Because that’s putting the entire responsibility on the Lord.

We’ve been told for over 90 years now to get a year’s food supply. We’ve also been commanded to hopefully get a year’s supply of fuel, cash, and other things. People who claim they can’t afford it also manage to drive brand-new cars, live in big expensive houses, have second homes, boats, go on lavish vacations, etc.

They have what they want. They’ve not done what the Lord has required of them. How is that having faith?

I’m all for people having everything they want and going everywhere they want, but the command is to be self-sufficient first. You can tell if someone has faith because they will follow the command to have the necessary storage of food and supplies. Those who have faith have obeyed the commandments. Those who don’t have faith have what they want instead.

I know this is a harsh view of things, and I’m not trying to take away people’s fun, but harsh reality will hit us. There’s a reason why so much has been revealed regarding these last days. We are in for a nightmare. One of the Biblical proportions.

An important part of Spiritual Preparation is a solid testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith and that comes through knowing the Book of Mormon is true. There are many critics of the Book of Mormon who try any way they can to denigrate and dismiss it. They all try to sound scholarly and educated but ignore several things, including two significant facts about its creation. This video explores this concept and tries to encourage real scholarship meant to give glory to God and not seek the praise of humanity.

Since December 2021, I have been studying the Book of Revelation and have had a marvelous experience. I woke up early one morning at about 3:30 AM. The Lord told me to read the Book of Revelation. I thought that was a heavy read that early in the morning, but I obeyed the prompting.

For the last couple of weeks, I have felt prompted to make a video about what I’ve learned over this last year because I discovered several things that are very different from what I have read, heard, or watched. I have spent many days creating this one-hour and eight-minute video. I hope you will enjoy this and ponder some of the things I’m sharing with you. Even if you initially disagree with some of my proposals, please watch the whole thing. Making this has been a profound experience for me. I hope it will benefit you.

(EDIT JUNE 6, 2023: I had an incredible experience this last year regarding the Book of Revelation and wanted desperately to make a Part 2 Video, but the Lord said No. I tried 5 times and He said No each time. I’m just here to tell you that Revelation 6:1-2, all of Chapters 12 and 13 are about to happen and they are amazing, but most people will not notice it! I will thank the Lord forever for the health issues I had that made me pray harder than ever and God was so gracious to give me insight into this marvelous book!)
