This one from Patriot Seeds holds 20 varieties, all heirloom, and that matters more than most people realize. Most of the seed packets on the racks at the big hardware stores aren't heirloom. Plant them and you'll get a crop, but the seeds from those plants won't grow true the next year, so you have to buy new seeds every spring. Heirloom seeds are different. You can harvest seeds from your own plants and plant them again, year after year, for as long as you want. Store the vault somewhere cool and dry, and plant a few each spring so you learn what grows well where you live before you ever need to depend on it.
